📖 Our Story

From a Dream to Buloba's
Most Trusted School

ABAA Preparatory School was founded in 2009 with a single, clear conviction: every child in Buloba deserves a world-class education, regardless of background.

What began as a small nursery with a handful of learners and three dedicated teachers has grown into one of Wakiso District's most celebrated schools, serving over 500 learners from Creche through Primary 7. Our growth has been driven not by ambition alone, but by the trust parents place in us every morning when they drop off their most precious gifts.

"We don't just teach children — we raise the generation that will transform Uganda." — ABAA Founding Headteacher

Today, our campus features purpose-built classrooms, a computer laboratory, a swimming pool, sports grounds, and a library — facilities that rival the best urban schools, right here in the heart of Buloba.

  • Ministry of Education & Sports registered and inspected
  • Consistently top-3 PLE performers in Wakiso District
  • Qualified & certified teaching staff across all levels
  • Safe, gated campus with 24-hour security
  • Dedicated transport covering 12+ routes around Buloba & Nansana

🎯 Our Purpose

Vision, Mission & Values

These three pillars guide everything we do — from how we greet a child at the gate to how we prepare them for life.

👁️

Our Vision

To be the leading centre of holistic childhood education in Uganda — producing learners who are academically excellent, morally upright, and equipped to lead and serve in a rapidly changing world.

We envision a generation of Ugandan children who are not just exam-passers, but confident, compassionate, and creative problem-solvers.

Long-term Focus
🎯

Our Mission

To provide a safe, nurturing, and stimulating learning environment that develops the whole child — intellectually, physically, socially, spiritually, and emotionally — through a balanced curriculum and dedicated, qualified teaching.

We partner closely with families to ensure every child reaches their full potential, from their first day at Baby Class to their last year in Primary 7.

Daily Commitment
💎

Our Values

Every decision at ABAA is guided by a firm set of values that shape the culture, relationships, and character development across our entire school community.

❤️ Love 🌟 Excellence 🤝 Integrity 🙏 Respect 🌿 Responsibility 💡 Curiosity 🏆 Hard Work 🌍 Community
🧠 How We Teach

Our Teaching Philosophy

At ABAA, learning is never passive. We believe children are natural explorers, and our teaching approaches are designed to honour and ignite that curiosity.

Our teachers blend the Uganda National Curriculum with globally proven child-centred methodologies. We do not just "cover content" — we build understanding, confidence, and character simultaneously.

🎮

Play-Based Learning

For Nursery and Baby Class, structured play is the primary vehicle for learning. Children discover concepts through exploration, not rote repetition.

👩‍🏫

Child-Centred Instruction

Teachers facilitate; learners discover. Lessons are designed around the learner's pace, learning style, and natural interests.

🌍

Holistic Development

Academic performance is one measure of success. We also track emotional growth, social skills, physical health, and spiritual well-being.

🔬

STEM & Critical Thinking

From Primary 3 onwards, Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics are taught with practical experiments and problem-solving exercises.

🤝

Parent Partnership

We treat parents as co-educators. Regular reports, parent meetings, and WhatsApp updates keep families engaged in their child's journey.

👩‍🏫 The People Behind ABAA

Our Dedicated Leadership & Teaching Staff

Every member of the ABAA team was handpicked for their qualifications, their love for children, and their commitment to making every school day count.
